Anna Ševelová

Testing strategy, quality assurance, and automated test scripts take up most of Anna's time at Notum. She also works on SEO and accessibility audits and improvements and creates practical guides for clients.

Professional Background

Before moving into tech, Anna worked in retail management, running three Manufaktura stores in Brno and leading teams of 15 to 30 people. She switched to QA through the Czechitas Digital Academy and joined Notum as a Junior Software Tester in 2022.

Since then, her role has grown from hands-on manual testing into broader ownership of quality across projects, including testing strategy, risk assessment, regression and smoke testing, test automation with Cypress and Playwright, and accessibility and SEO testing.

Outside of Work

Anna has a habit of collecting interests almost as enthusiastically as she collects books. She reads a lot, and her interests include mineralogy, fountain pens, including small repairs on older pieces, keeping reptiles, botany, photography, travel, cooking, theatre, and classical music, as well as dancing, mushroom foraging, and art. As she puts it, being a quiet introvert doesn't mean she has nothing to say.
