Helena Vildová

Helena started out as a software developer and has spent 25 years in IT since. At Notum, she leads projects, and her specialty is taking over complicated IT projects and getting them back on track, rebuilding trust between customer and supplier along the way.

Professional Background

Helena holds three certifications: Design for Six Sigma Green Belt, PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP), and LeSS Practitioner. She began in mobile network research at Siemens, and went on to lead teams of avionics software engineers at Honeywell, including work on Fly-By-Wire systems. At SolarWinds, she led a key part of the agile transformation of eight Scrum teams. At ARTIN, she spent two years on the leadership team, built the company's project management community, and introduced an OKR framework.

She runs internal company seminars on Lean, Agile, and Management 3.0, and mentors other project managers on their live projects. She's also attended various conferences over the years, though she no longer remembers the names.

Outside of Work

Helena spends her free time hiking, traveling, exercising, and watching K-dramas. She also founded TheNewNew, a brand of upcycled women's office clothing where every piece is one of a kind, made with a Czech sewing workshop.
