QA Lead & Project Manager
Marcel leads QA at Notum with seven years in testing, and manages client projects too. He makes sure everything Notum delivers works the way it should, so clients get faster releases and fewer surprises.
Marcel makes sure everything Notum delivers to clients works the way it should. He's spent seven years in QA, and as QA Lead he runs the whole testing team. Right now he's reshaping how QA works at Notum: automated tests come first, not as an afterthought, and everyone on the team follows the same process and technical standard. He keeps the team learning and pushes it to adopt what's new in testing, so clients get faster releases and fewer surprises in production.
Marcel is also a project manager. He coordinates client projects from kickoff to handover, so he sees quality from both sides: how it's built and how it's delivered.
Before Notum, Marcel worked as a test engineer at RWS Group and as a QA assistant at Jonckers. At Notum, he started as a QA Engineer in 2022, became QA Lead in January 2024, and took on project management in March 2025.
Outside work, Marcel spends most of his free time on his road/gravel bike. He's also getting into racket sports like padel and tennis. He loves football, though these days he follows it from the couch. His two big passions are the Premier League and Formula 1. In both, the details decide the result. Sounds familiar.
