Our experience at NOTUM: we've been using STRAPI on most of our projects for a while now. With STRAPI, you can set up a project in just a few minutes, generate a database and API, and configure user management (including SSO), permissions, email sending, and file uploads.
For some projects, this allows us to skip backend development entirely and focus solely on the front-end. Plus, we get a fully functional admin panel! It’s ideal for smaller projects or MVPs.

When we learned that the STRAPI team wanted to host meetups around the world to celebrate the release of v5 and were looking for volunteers, we didn’t hesitate. It was time to give back to the project that’s helped us so much.
We decided to organize a meetup because we have experience with this kind of event, love building community, and our developers can deepen their knowledge by preparing presentations!
This was our first live-streamed and in-person meetup and featured three presentations, including one by CTO Jim Laurie himself.
At one point, there were over 100 people attending, which pleasantly surprised us. For those who missed it, all presentations are available on YouTube.
