We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who can help us keep complex Strapi, Next.js, and React projects reliable as they grow. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and designers to prevent regressions, improve release confidence, and make quality visible throughout the delivery process.
This is not a role for someone who only executes test cases at the end of a sprint. We want QA involved early, asking the right questions, spotting ambiguity, designing useful test coverage, and helping the team ship better software with less friction.
You should understand both manual and automated testing. You know when automation helps and when exploratory testing is more valuable. You can read requirements, inspect UI behavior, check API responses, and communicate findings without noise.
Experience with Playwright or Cypress is important. TypeScript, GitHub Actions, REST APIs, accessibility testing, performance basics, and CMS testing are strong advantages. You do not need to be a full-time developer, but you should be comfortable reading code, debugging test failures, and discussing implementation details with engineers.
You will work on real production systems where quality is tied to editor workflows, content operations, SEO, performance, and business-critical launches. Your work will shape how we test reusable patterns, starters, migrations, and long-term client platforms.
This role is a good fit for someone who wants QA to be respected as an engineering discipline, not treated as a final checklist.
